RECENT PAST RIDE SUMMARIES:

The Lompoc ride over February 28/29 is posted on the website. Photos will soon be uploaded. Dave Palmer was congratulated for a wonderful weekend. He also wrote the article about the weekend which has been submitted to Motorcycle Roads which will be in the next issue.

The Death Valley weekend for March 26/28 is also posted on the website. It also was a great weekend except for the howling winds Friday afternoon and evening! Steve Morris and his son Kimo wrote the article for the website and it has been submitted to Motorcycle Roads and may end up in the same issue as the previous ride.

Sunday April 18 many of us attended the Miller Children’s Hospital Benefit sponsored by SCMA. Over $1000 was raised for the hospital. Our member Mike Betchart is also a member of the Victor McLaughlin Drill Team and they put on a wonderful show both for the riders and the kids from the hospital who came out to watch and enjoy. The VMDT does this for free as a service to the community.
